Agneepath Plan
The Agnipath or Agneepath plan of the Indian Army is a four-year contract recruitment process for Agniveer for General Duty, Technical, Aviation & Ammo Examiner, Clerk/Store Keeper, and Tradesmen posts. 25% of the Agniveers will be kept in the regular cadre after serving in the Indian Army for four years depending on merit, willingness, and medical fitness.
